IIT-Bombay students feel that professors are not able to generate enough interest in courses

Indian institute of technology Bombay is one of the best undergraduate institute across the country and also dream institute for many students.IIT Bombay is the first choice for most of the toppers in IIT JEE examination, everyone expects IIT Bombay as the best but after a survey report surprising facts have come in front of professors.
Survey was initiated by IIT professors for students of current batch, in reply students also conducted a survey

Teacher View:

1. Students of the current batch are not good as previous ones. Survey revealed that 75% of the students would not submit an assignment unless a deadline was enforced.
2. Large lecture room sizes reduce the effectiveness of teaching.
3. It is difficult for them to balance the dual roles of teaching and research.

Student View:

1. The course content is theoretical and lacks practical application.
2. Teachers are unable to attract or retain the attention of the students toward the subject
